Production/ Petroleum Engineer

  • Adhearing to the budgeted work plan on existing wells and meeting the production and expenditure targets.
  • Smooth and zero downtime operations of OCS & CTT.
  • 100% achievement of routine well maintenance operations.
  • Quality of well servicing & work over operations implementations.
  • Identification of Well stimulation Operations techniques and target wells.
  • Effective Surface & Down hole Data Acquisition. Real time data update of all wells information in the petroleum engineering software
  • Continuous Assessment and identification of new technologies as well as preventive and predictive maintenance of production levels of wells.

Responsibilities :-\

· To run the day to day operations of the Production Deptt. Including any workover or EOR Operations.

· Train, coach and counsel peers, subordinates i.e. local crews and Nationals.

· Propose Technological changes, sound policies and procurement of suitable equipment and resources for subsurface requirements.

· Implement HSE pilicies and its awareness in the department.

· Implement GeoEnpro Quality Management System in the department operations.

· Study of well behaviours and to take necessary action to enhance/ optimize production from individual wells.

· Preparation of operational plans & surface layouts for well servicing, workover and stimulation operations.

· Assess and identify new technologies for improving production and recovery.

· Supervision of well servicing, workover & well stimulation operations.

· Projection of material requirements for various production operations and indenting the same.

· Preparation of annual budgets of production department and production file.

· Planning, acquiring and analysing various surface and down hole data for technical back up.

· Real time data input of all well information in the petroleum engineering software and they real time interpretation.

· Optimization of artificial lift well parameters to enhance/ optimize well production from artificial lift wells.

· Association with various service companies to adopt latest avaliable technology (if feasible)to optimize/ enhance productivity of the wells.

· Additional responsibilities as Mines Manager as per Mines Act in the absence of regular Mines Manager.

· To train fresh petroleum engineers for various production activities.

· Review of various reports submitted by production engineers.

· Support the GM and contribute to the Oil and Gas exploration and development planning studies for the project life period.
