Electrical Engineer

One of the automotive sector Company is going to start their construction/manufacturing base . A Senior Electrical Engineer having Degree in Electrical with at least 5 yrs of Experience is required to achieve the goal of construction/establishment of Power Sub Station/Distribution and Maintenance with in scheduled time.

Estimation, Tendering, Executing the work at site, Preparation of As Built Drawings in AUTOCAD, Capable of handling the site independently

Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering

Experience of 1 to 5 yrs. in the field of HT/LT Installation

Salary depends on the Experience & Qualification of the candidate

Role Objective

The role entails Monitoring & Maintaining the working Electrical systems related to Pulp,Paper, Power block& other auxiliaries.

Operations

Monitor & Maintain efficiently all the operations related to Electrical Machinery, Specifically AC/DC Drives,motion control drives, VFD, PLC, HT/LT Power distribution, Motor control, Transformers.

Process Improvement

Initiate & Contribute in Quality improvement Initiatives.

Initiate & Contribute in process improvements initiatives like TQM, TPM etc in the function.

Initiate & Contribute in continuous improvement plans, cost reduction measures & benchmarking exercise in the company.

Senior Electrical Engineer

Preparation of Electrical Single Line Diagrams -- complete with protection and metering requirements, Electrical Load summaries & Load Flow studies, Emergency Power System Design

Hazardous Area Classification, Sizing of Power Distribution Equipment -- transformers, switch-gear, MCC / PCC, Cable Sizing Calculations and Cable Schedules

Area Lighting Calculations, Lighting layouts, Substation layout -- overall cable layout / cable schedule, Grounding Plans and Layouts, Lightning Protection System Design, Cathodic Protection

Preparation of purchase specification and Technical Bid Evaluation. Familiarity with international codes and standards such as IEC, NEC, BS, NEMA and API. Site experience is essential

Electrical Engineers-LT HT Projects

He will be the overall incharge as far as projects are concerned. His work will involve preparing project scheduling, comparative analysis for Resources and Labour, and also submission of project cost sheet to the Management.

To provide support for marketing new projects, handling new enquiries and co-ordination with Clients.

The suitable candidate will have 3 Project Supervisors reporting to him. His work will involve daily overlooking at sites which could be within or outside Mumbai. All expenses for travelling and Allowance for Outstation jobs will be borne by the Company.

He will report to the Management Team and will be responsible for generating MIS reports for the Management, pertaining to Projects.

Knowledge of AutoCad/Cad-Cam will be an added advantage.
